zzzz....

Just when I conditioned myself not to eat any form of pasta for the next few weeks... I ended up having dinner with Chris and Kate in Little Italy for, you guessed it, some good 'ol carbo loading.

After three pieces of mozarella patties, a plateful of ricotta/parmesan ravioli and a glass of wine... I was back to being remorsefully bloated.

It was all good though as I was able to spend a good amount of time relaxing after having near dead feet from standing at work and dealing with crazy (literally) people all day. A reward for working real hard as we put it.

On the way home while on the Q as it crossed the Manhattan Bridge I remembered that Olafur Eliasson's waterfalls is now running on the Brooklyn Bridge. As I tried to see if it was lit, there it was... running in full force all lit up! I only got a glimpse of it... so maybe in a couple weeks I'm going to take the time to come see it (4 locations around the city) where I can gag in awe of the much awaited man-made falls presented by the Public Art Fund.

I'm off tomorrow. No big plans as of tonight. Maybe when I wake up there will be.
