itchy feet.

Today my feet got itchy to go outside and stroll around the city.

Fridays are reserved for chores and errands. I did my laundry, cleaned up my mess in my room and went thru all my mail (90% being junk mail) this morning. I also did a little painting. So I thought I deserved a little Paulo time.

Spring is really here! I didn't even have to wear a jacket outside. Sweat even actually trickled from my forehead, how exciting! Days like this I live for. Met up with my roomie who worked a couple blocks away from L'asso for lunch. Walked around from Nolita to SoHo to the West Village. I opted not to take any trains to maximize my being outside. I even accidentally found a store along Bleecker st. that sold a particular brand that I was recently introduced to. I like the store's little tag line "Handsome Gifts.". A second accidental find was Grom. I read about this place some where and remembered it got some good reviews. With my sweet tooth and current icy treat craving from the great weather the city has been having, I indulged myself with some pistachio gelato and sat in the park right across it for some people watching.

Now I'm back and fully energized by the fantastic weather, people watching and window shopping... I'm going to go and continue painting for the rest of the night.
