lazy saturday underway.

I woke up today and decided to have a lazy Saturday. When I mean lazy, that just means doing everything leisurely. Went to Target early in the morning and picked up a few things like toiletries and some snacks. Discovered some Tazo Chai and Green Tea Latte cartons by the tea section. I initially got excited, but then thought about how much sugar and crap there is in it so I opted on cucumber tea instead. We'll see how that tastes like.

Currently doing laundry and making some lentil soup. I was able to finally use the ham bone from Xmas leftover that I saved and placed in the freezer to make the stock. The hame bone would definitely give that soup an extra smoky flavor. Since we are in the topic of meats, I've also decided to finally make bistek. This time, I'm going to try how my cousins do it. They marinate and fry their bistek first. It's worth a shot plus I'm going to dry the meat first before cooking so it would turn brown a trick I picked up from watching Julie & Julia.

Heading to Western Beef in a while and hitting Key Foods as well to pick up some nice bread and maybe some berries.

Tomorrow will be studio day.
