3..2..1..

New Years eve is tonight... and theres snow on the ground! It looks very pretty outside my window, I could just imagine it outside how everything would be dusted with snow. But I won't be seeing any of that I guess since I'm staying in to do some studio time here at home. I need to put in a days worth of work to my drawings and I think today would be the perfect day to do that. I'm also making bacon and rice for breakfast so I'm equally as excited.

I did a quick window yesterday. I wasn't suppose to work but I figured that I didn't want the auction window to be empty for another week. Since the walls need not be painted, I thought that it would be a fairly easy window to put up. It's now finished, and I'm quite happy with it. Most of the windows that I've worked on that really didn't have anything to begin with are the best ones to work on I think. It always has challenged me creatively to do that and I love saying "pulling out a window display out of my ass!". HA! I miss doing windows since I've stopped doing them when school started in September. I just wish I could find a job just doing windows.

OH! Last night I had dinner at Cafe Habana with Steph and Ryan after work. This place was really good and would say that our more than 20 minute wait outside in the freezing cold was worth every bit of it. Shared an order of Mexican style grilled corn (lime, chilli powder & cotija cheese) with Steph then had a Cuban sandwich and downed a glass of Mojito on the rocks.
