school bus.

Ever since I've moved to NY I've only taken the bus roughly about five times. I'm a subway boy when it comes to getting around the city and I also walk a lot. A couple weeks ago I wondered what was the best way to get to school. Option 1 was to get a bike. Option 2 was just to take the subway with my usual route to my store's warehouse which is only a couple blocks away from school. Option 1 I had to rule out as I'm a little scared of vehicles running me over by accident. So I was left with option 2 which meant riding the Shuttle service then taking the C/E to Manhattan and switching to the G back to Brooklyn it is. It's a little bit of a schlep to be doing all that 3 days a week. Thanks to HopStop I figured out a better way!

I'm taking the B48 and it's going to be my school bus.

All I need to do is hop on the bus and get off at the stop near school (a two block walk, I think). No switching no nothing. All I have to do is sit and read a book while making sure I wont miss my stop. I'm testing out the new route and the bus today to get to school. Hopefully I'll like it.

Oh, orientation day today and I'm more anxious than ever.
