Inspired by the graphic qualities of my chosen black & white stripe fabric and Edward Gorey, I have aptly titled this window "Curious Sofa".

I think I did a pretty good job considering it's my first window where I called all the shots. It was a lot of hard work and it involved more than just arranging the items in the window and painting the walls. I had to repaint the china cabinet, re-wire the chandelier, pick out fabric for the sofa, create an arrangement for the bell jar and make sense of every object I've placed in the window. It was such a creative and logistical challenge that took me almost a week to complete (with holidays and all) but enjoyed every moment of it.
Now window pictures.

My managers are very pleased and very proud with what I've done. Regular customers are also giving me the thumbs up! More importantly, I'm extremely happy with the out come and all the hard work I did has paid off. AND, I'm also excited to announce that I have already been given the next window assignment due sometime after Nov.17 involving an Arco Floor Lamp from the 1960's.
