decor and reads.

Just when I tell myself not to drag anything from our store anymore (I was doing well actually), I bring home three 18"x24" picture frames and two low wire book shelves. I figured getting them was a necessity and not out of a whim which I have done many times before. The three picture frames I'm going to use to house my Mark Ryden Blood, Sweat and Tears prints. While the two bookshelves I'm going to use to store books along with knick-knacks so I can finally get rid of my hideous third-hand green dresser. Getting rid of that dresser would make more space in my room. Space is good, I like the "bagong lipat" amount of stuff in my room. By that I mean only having the necessities and nothing left for decoration. Thats why I think its important to have things that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Hello, here I go again...

Anyway, I picked up this book today at work:

I must say, it's one of the few books that have actually made me laugh. The first few pages have already managed to make me snicker and I couldn't help but keep it to myself on the train on the way home. For some reason, the mom he writes about in his essays remind me so much about how my mom actually is. I think I'm ditching Anne Frank for this one in the mean time.

Yesterday, before I forget, there was this guy who came into our store looking fairly suspicious. He was pompously dressed like a typical guy from the financial district. He wasn't the shoplifting looking kind but the weird kind. I watched him carefully and told the other people I work with that he might be on something (at 3pm). He was swaying and his eyes were slanty. Then one of the girls I work with go "Oh, definitely heroine!".
